EXPERIENCE & BACKGROUND
Matt has over twenty years of experience in the financial services industry serving a wide range of clients to help them achieve their unique goals. He graduated from Alfred University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with emphasis in Finance and Marketing.
Matt started his professional career in manufacturing and then went onto advertising until he began working in the financial services industry for an investment management firm that offered mutual funds and institutional strategies catered to each client. He held several accounting, analyst, and client service positions there before leaving to pursue an opportunity with an investment consulting firm.
He served there in many roles for their typical clients which were foundations, endowments, and high-net-worth individuals and families. He held several progressively demanding roles there until joining a comprehensive wealth management firm as an advisor where he continued to develop his client facing experience helping them plan, implement, and stay on track with their long and short-term goals while maneuvering life’s obstacles.
Matt then joined our H&H Financial Group family where he immediately began sharing his expertise, ambition, and enthusiasm towards helping our clients achieve their financial and life goals.
PERSONAL PASSIONS & FAMILY
Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending time with his fiancée, Katie, outdoors taking advantage of the local hills, rivers, gorges, and lakes. They can be frequently found hiking many of the local trails and have an appreciation for the Finger Lakes Trail and its trail system.
Besides hiking, kayaking, and outdoor activities, they pursue their love for music. Most of their travel time is spent going to concerts and festivals. Bethel Woods, boarding the original Woodstock location, is one of their favorite destinations.
Beyond their love for the outdoors, music, and friends, is their closest compassion, their family. Matt relocated to be closer to his family. His inner desire to be closer to his family led him to meet Katie in his, and her, hometown where they still reside.
They also value their home time together with their pets. They have three chihuahuas and a cat. Their cat stands tallest amongst their pets.
